meaning of name: honestly, i came up with the name by your basic brain storming. i wanted her name to have a sense of class, because after all lady was brought up like a princess. when i thought of lady, lara came to mine. Lara, because of tomb raider. she was after all a lady in the movie (lady croft). so i thought i would keep Lara is a nick name. which left me wondering about a full first name, princess Laurana from MIB. its an odd thought process but that's how it flowed. that and Laurana had an Italian sound to it. the name of Amelia is used all throughout royal history and it comes across elegantly. Francesca is another Italian name, usually used in romance languages. i found it reminiscent of the scene where the tramp and lady are eating spaghetti and meatballs. the surname of Ranaldi can be traced back into the de' Medici family, known in Italian history.

her body is lean and tight, but it is only because lara has been thin most of her life. she only began filling out when she was a junior in high school. lara is no athlete by any stretch of the imagination. she feels that exercise is too tiring and that sweaty is not the way a lady should be seen anywhere. the only reason she can think of to why she has a flat tummy is because she is cautious. lara follows a strict diet she came up for herself when she was 10 years old. it excludes all fried foods, anything processed, all organic. she can stomach poultry, but no other farm animal. she has never even eaten an actual egg before. lara also has never worn sneakers in her life. even as a child she wore those shiny black shoes with the small heel on them. if you are wondering about gym class, she always had an excuse letter from her doctor. the pampered princess has a very nice body over all though and its only healthy in the way of what she puts into it.

if there is one thing Lara knows, its fashion. its very cliche, but the only thing she was interested in as a young girl was fashion. her mother always has impeccable taste when she was dressing lara, and it was passed down. Lara likes the feminine look and showing off the lower part of her legs. its just not right to wear something above the thigh area. cocktail dresses are a favorite of hers. Lara likes showing her shoulders, so you can find many off the shoulder numbers in her closet. she loves the plaid skirts, cotton long sleeved shirt and blazer look. knee high stockings are never out of season. her style can be considered trendy-preppy.

lara is a very petite young woman. she is 5'3" and is well proportioned. she wishes she were taller since then she could just work as a model instead. a model for classy magazines like italian vogue, not sports illustrated. then again her height does not cause her much grief, she can wear heels that would be much too high for others that are taller. she also never has to feel that insecurity when it comes to dating, for the men are always taller then her. if she did not wear such age appropriate clothing, many would mistake her for a high school student. lara has medium length golden brown hair that falls around the outer part of her face in waves. she never puts her hair up because lara's stylist said it caused breakage. lara also has naturally tanned skin, due to her nationality. most from Tuscany are tanned.

lara's features are also very small. she has a tiny pointed nose, and rosy medium high cheek bones. her eyes are normal sized, although sometimes they appear dramatically almond shaped when she laughs. she has a wide brow bone, straight eyebrows that thin out towards the end. thick upper lashes, that are so long they touch her brow bone. lara has cloudy blue eyes, that are more of a teal color. her lips are always a pink-peach color, and her lips run a little thinner then most lips. lara's lips aren't so thin that you cannot notice them, they are just right for her face. one trait that most find attractive are her dimples. when smiling, lara has very deep indentations on both cheeks near the corners of her mouth. she has a circular shape to her face that drips down into a semi pointed chin.

Lara is not exactly a mean person, she just has a bad habit of blowing others off. she measures other by their outer appearance. most of the time she believes her self worth to be more, so she ignores you or makes it very apparent that she isn't going to ask you over for tea any time. it makes most believe her to be a snob. which she can be many a times. it is the attitude that has been programmed into her, by her family. a Ranaldi is never to be seen keeping company that is not in the same status as the other. you can only associate with those of equal or more worth.

when she was younger, Lara used to be playful and needy. always starved for attention, which she always got in the end. she is also very spoiled in that way. her parents tried to be firm with her, but she always won them over by making them feel bad. no matter how strict they tried to be with her, she would always find a way. lara is still that way, determined to have her way with anything. not by fighting, but by her natural charm and expert begging abilities. she is protective over the people she loves, trying to keep harm away from them if she can prevent it. lara is always polite towards those that she likes, or those that she absolutely has to be polite towards.

once you get passed the fact that she has grown up to be snobbish and she lets her guard down, you see that she is a sweet girl. naive to the world outside of her fancy hotels, mansions and first class seating. Lara hates being ignored or feeling unappreciated, especially by her family. when that happens, she usually turns to acting out to grab their attention. that's only as a last resort. with her parents, she is obedient and feels obligated to follow their rules only if she thinks they were set for her own good. she is innocent and reluctant towards change. jealous and gets hurt emotionally very easily. Lara does like to experience things though, so when given the oppertunity she will at least try it.

Lara enjoys sitting up in her room and listening to music. she loves getting manicures, pedicures, her hair done and massages. gourmet food is always something that calls out to her. comfortable beds, snuggling, affection, attention and romantic settings. she likes how protective her friends are of her. shopping is something that comes naturally to her. Lara loves real gold, the more karats the better. jewelery, light colors and helping others. she loves walks during the afternoon, when the sun is setting. Lara is always a fan of presents and gift giving. she likes being around children, playing the piano, and the cello as well.

Laurana was born on July 1st near park avenue in NY, sharing a birthday with the beautiful deceased princess Diana to Jiovanni Ranaldi and Darlene Ranaldi. The two had been married for a year and were ecstatic to know that there would soon be a baby in their family, to make them feel complete. Lara's parents were both part of very wealthy families. They had the mansion, they had their jobs, they had wealth, love and all they needed was Lara. you could imagine their excitement when she was born. both Jiovanni and Darlene came from very wealthy backgrounds. the Ranaldi family name dated back years in royalty, which lead them to be political figures today. as for Darlene, her family always remained in the medical field. Darlene's father is a self-made billionaire who owns Le Chateau Frontenac, Darlene is next in line to take over the business. Which she has prepared for all of her life.

the saying rings true in the Ranaldi family, money isn't everything. so when Lara came around she was the talk of both sides of their sizable family. everything was about Lara, relatives flying in from all over the globe to spend some time with the new member of the family. this of course lead to many moments of sheer spoiling. her parents tried to be strict with her, but as soon as she would cry they would cave in. after some time the two parents could no longer deny her daughter what she wanted. how could they undo the spoiling if she could just talk to uncle Aton and he would get it for her instead. you would come to believe that Lara would become a snotty spoiled brat, but instead she was a quiet energetic child.

Lara always kept herself occupied with something and never threw tantrums of any sort. she was obedient towards her parents and always took her studies seriously. she would have her day planned out for her, cello practice, then study session, then piano lessons and then off to boarding school. most would hate boarding school, but Lara thought it was fun. after every session she would come home, since it was only a 20 minute drive away and come back to her home. Lara never really got the urge to want to go against her parents and rebel. she loved her life.

as she grew older she began to notice that her parents and family were more preoccupied with other things. her mother was going to be handed the family business, which would keep her busy and away from home. her father was always up to his neck in business, so there was no longer any time for Lara. this sadden her deeply, the feeling of a huge empty house. she tried to rebel and capture her parents attention through high school, but they would just punish her. cutting off her credit cards or taking her car keys. it did not take long for her to see that her method wasn't working to benefit her. then they brought in her aunt Sabrina from her fathers side. when she was a young girl, she was fond of her aunt. now that she had matured her aunt had become annoyingly dramatic.

aunt Sabrina would take unnecessary measures to prove that she was in charge in the house. she would have someone escort Lara around the mall. she would constantly argue with Lara about her attire, eating habits and even the company she kept. by nineteen, Lara was done with high school and it was time to pick a college. that is when her aunt decided for her and then bragged to her parents about the decision. Lara felt like the control of her life had been taken out of her hands. she went through with college for two years until she began to notice that she had absolutely no interest in business. Lara had to work doubly hard for her grades because she did not enjoy the subjects. business was something that she took no pleasure in. then when she switched to the medical field thanks to her aunt, she found she also hated it too.

it was time to retaliate. Lara had been playing by her aunts rules for far too long. she could no longer have her aunt living in her house. so when she asked her father if aunt Sabrina could move back to Italy and Lara could be on her own while they were away at work, she was denied. she couldn't understand why after two years she still needed a baby sitter? why she needed to go to the mall with a guard? why did she have to ask for permission to take a walk around 7pm? currently, she is a run away from home. Lara just left, she managed to take some money with her and when she tried to take money out again her cards had been frozen. all her aunts brilliant plan to bring her back. she believes that if Lara has no money, then she will come running back home. Lara is determined though and just has to find a way to find a place. mostly she is scared to death and is living out of a hotel a friend of hers owns. she doesn't want to take advantage of his kindness for too long though. all she has to do is figure out what she is good at.
