The setting of this tragic era takes place at the current time: January 2010. In the state of Virginia (though it has happened all over the country - and possibly the globe), the race of vampires has made its presence known. They're thirsty for blood, dominance, and even sex. This doesn't entirely mean that all vampires have control; some may be slaves themselves, if they are young and have yet to tame their abilities. Mortals, however, are definitely being lured into servitude. Many are not willing, but there are a few that find this to be a very interesting opportunity. Vampires - it may as well be a fantasy for some.
Some of the master vampires are not too lenient, and others may be. Some slaves are fortunate. Others? Not so much...
