- - - - - - - the year is 2010, and this is new york. rich and super-rich. these are two classes beeghley associated with big homes, expensive lifestyle, and nest eggs. what beeghley neglected to mention is that the rich and the super-rich certainly have their secrets. to think of new york city is to picture the glamour of broadway, of the huge and expensive condos, and of murder, malice, and motive. of course, you wouldn't associate the last three with the rich and the super-rich... but you'd be wrong not to. beyond the white picket fences, the impossibly large walk-in closets are host to skeletons. the members of the mafia make more than four hundred thousand dollars anually, hitmen and female assassins run amock, and there is a thriving community in the black market looking to purchase human organs. oh yes, the rich and the super-rich have their secrets.
