A little bit of lil' ol' me? Oh, sure, I'd be more than happy to share a little bit of myself with you sweetie, but you can't just swallow it all in without chewing first, because that way you might choke and then die because, to tell you the truth, I never really learned how to perform the Heinrich maneuver properly...Or, maybe, you can swallow it with one big bite, without caring about the vices and weakness and bad habits, and just help it slide down with a nice little cup of tea. Oh, that last one sounds good doesn't it? Yes it does. But you can't have tea with strangers so, allow me to introduce myself. I am Maddox Hatcher but, if my pants feel ticklish when around you, you may call me Mad. Or Maddy. But never William! Oh, I dare you to call me William! But most people just love calling me Mad. It's like everyone knows me! Too bad I don't know them. Hm? Oh, right, back to me. I am thirty seven years old, at least that's what the white coats tell me, but I think they're missing a few marbles, you know what I mean? Oh! And my birthday is on April first. Well...alright, maybe it isn't, but it doesn't matter does it? My head it...It can't remember things like it used to. Sometimes I can't tell if tea time is at four or five o'clock! Hah. As for a job...Well. I used to have this adorable little shop back in New York where I-I'd make these beautiful and eccentric big hats for people. At least...that's what I think I used to do before I went 'insane'. Psh. Insane Shmane! I'm as sane as any other bloke out there. I'm just...forbidden to get near any sharp objects. Or pens. Or spoons. Or toothbrushes. Oh, you don't want to know about the toothbrushes. Anyway, the Doc. says my family sent me straight to the asylum and then, after a nice couple of months, they sent me here to 'calm down a bit'. But they're just being silly! I'll be calm as long as I have my warm tea. Would you like some?

Oh, positive traits? Well I have lots and lots of those. They're so many they won't even fit in my pockets! Well, to start with, I'm a very positive person. I always look on the bright side of things. Doesn't matter if we're in a large green field or stuck in a coffin six feet underground...there's aaaalways a bright side to look at. And if I can't find a bright side,well, I'll just force one to show up. And I won't let anything spoil my good mood. If you dare to try and bring me down I'll...Well. I'll just do something none of us will enjoy. But, let's just keep moving forward shall we? After all, forward is the way to go!

Let's see...My psychologist says I'm energetic. That's good right? Oh, what am I saying? Of course it is! Who'd you pick to be your best friend? A uh, bubbly and jumpy fellow like me or some boring...vegetable? Yeah, I'd pick me too. It's like I always say; "If you ain't movin', you ain't livin'". I have enough energy to keep me awake weeks and weeks without one single little hour of sleep. And you know what's good about all this energy? It's aaaaall natural, sweetie. No pills, no coffee, no...dirty needles to make your muscles go all puffy, none of that shit, no. I'm all natural, baby. And I intend continuing to be natural. That's why I don't take any of the pills the Doc. recommends. But shush, shush. No telling. That'll be our little secret.

Not taking things too seriously always worked out for me. You just can't take what people say or do seriously. I usually just keep smiling and being the oh-so-wonderful guy I am. But for some awkward reason, that irritates people sometimes. Ain't that just silly? I never liked those...snobbish and uptight guys all wearing ties around their necks like hanging-ropes, not giving a fuck about their families or friends, always thinking about their own arrogant and greedy selves, too busy with work to even enjoy life and all its little wonders. God, I hate them. I wish I could just grab their necks and...Oh, sorry. I got a little distracted there. Heh.

I might be just a tiny bit er...Too...Dedicated to things I love. Uhm. There's an adjective to describe that. What is it? It's on the tip of my tongue, I swear, oh! I got it! It's uh, obsessive. Obsessive...Gosh, that word sounds so heavy. Do I look like an obsessive kind of guy? Don't...Don't answer that. But yes. Sometimes I can't stop thinking about certain things. It's not like I don't want to stop but it...It just spreads through my brain and body like a disease. All my senses seem to work only for that particular thing and I just...I just need to have it.
