Cecillia Maddocks-LLyr was almost never late. She had always firmly believed that being punctual was important and that being late was a sign of rudeness. And if there were two things Lilly would not stand for it was sexism and rudeness. However, on one particular day, the blonde had found herself running late for every important thing that had come up. She was late for her first class of the day (reminder- never take a class that starts before ten o'clock), and ever since than, she could just not be on time. That of course did not work in her favor, as was to be expected. Especially when she needed to get from one of her two afternoon jobs to the other. Granted only one was in the afternoon. The other job she held was one where she generally worked the night-shift. Not that she minded. More people came during the night-shift, meaning she had more tables, meaning she got more tips. It was a win-win situation in her opinion. Of course she couldn't get tips if she wasn't on time. And so she ran as fast as she could.
Of course when she entered the Sushi Bar, she was already fifteen minute late. She ran to the back to change into her far less sweaty uniform, which consisted of a long sleeved white shirt and a pair of black slacks. She slipped on a pair of blue flats, as she wanted to add a bit of color to her outfit. Around her neck, as usual was the same necklace she always wore. She also tied a tie around her neck. Said tie was the same color as her shoes. She then proceeded to tie her hair in a ponytail. And then she was ready. Well almost. She tied her apron around her waist and shoved her pad of paper and a pen into the pocket. Now she was ready. A quick mirror check to make sure she looked presentable and a spray of perfume, and she went into the area that the general public was to stay.
The girl went from table to table, saying the exact same thing every time, keeping her pleasing attitude, despite the fact that she was as tired as crap, had a headache and was still a tad bit out of breath. It took a special kind of person to do this kind of job. One had to be able to seemed cheerful no matter what the circumstances, and one had to be able to stand being on their feet all evening. Lilly was the kind of girl capable of doing such. She was able to put up with anything. Crying babies, rude people, and the long, complicated order that came in from time-to-time were no match for the girl. She put up with a bitch of an aunt for a good deal of time. It was pretty easy to put up with all these things.
The girl continued her routine, dodging the other employees as they came through
"Hello. My name's Lilly, and I'll be you're server for this evening. Can I get you something to drink? Or are you ready to order. And by that I mean are you ready to order you're food? Because either way, you would be ordering. And I should shut up now and let you tell me what you want." she asked. As she did so, she pushed a lock of stray hair behind her ear and pulled out her pad, placing the tip of the pen against it.
