anya fyodorovna romanov
* tell us a little about yourself."Me? Now would you want to know anything about me? I'm just a little russian exchange student. The full name is Anya Fyodorovna Romanov. It's pretty much a mouth full, don't you think? I am twenty years old, and am a college transfer student from the St. Petersburg State University. I assume that I was indeed born in St. Petersburg, at least that's what my foster mother told me, but we will get to those small details later. I was born on the 14 of November 1990, and let me tell you, not so great of a birthday, not that I truly remember it. Oh and let's see, you can obviously tell by looking at me all those boring little details about my eye color, height, hair color and all that, but I must warn you, whatever you do, do not mistake me for that Barbara Meier girl, I hate being mistaken for a model."
* what are some of your positive traits?"Positive traits. *laughs* Um...well I guess being headstrong can be a good thing. It just means that I know what I want. That isn't a bad thing is it? Well I consider myself very smart, I am after all a transfer student from Russia afterall, you can't be stupid to do that. I consider my family of extreme importance, but sadly I don't really remember them. I don't remember much of my childhood. I think I'm fun and easy going, and I can really think well on my feet or under a crunch, and let me tell you it comes in handy."
* what are some things that you can improve on?"Unfortunetly I have a lot of negatives, or at least my foster family said that I did, I guess that's why I wasn't ever really placed with anyone. I'm completely stubborn, I mean to like a major fault. Once I have something set in my mind, there is not changing it. I'm bold in the sense that I can be a bit in your face, it's not really horrible, but people don't always like it. I'm also very childish. I am always catching myself sticking my tongue out at someone or rolling my eyes. I'm easily frustrated and often times insecure, which I think is probably due to most of my childhood being unknown to me, or at least the first ten years of it."
* what's your biggest secret? we won't tell."Why would I tell you my secrets, how should I know you won't run off and tell anyone, although since it isn't a huge major secret, I guess it wouldn't much matter now would it? *Shrugs* Well let's see, I'm an orphan, yes that's right, my family died when I was ten in a terrible car accident, in St. Petersburg. I hit my head and can't remember a thing of those first ten years. All I know is what people have told me. So there it is, my big secret."
* what does your heart want?"My heart? *Places hand on her heart* Well it wants a prince to take her away, kiss away her bad memories and make the good ones return. *Shakes head* I know that is more than not going to happen, but he does need to have a few things. He has to be smart, i'm not going to go after some dud. Handsome is a must. I want to have babies some day, and not ones that are ugly or something. *Laughs* I'm only kidding. He needs to be funny, and handle me and all my quirks. Other then that I think i'm pretty open."
* what do you do in your spare time?"Well I love learning, and history. I also loved to watch dance. Well every Russian girl wants to be a ballerina, for me, I just loved to watch. Ballets, ballroom dance, another orphan Dimitri, said that I was such a girly girl for watching it, but I would just smake him. What does he know anyway? Like I said before, I'm such a history nut, perhaps that is because I don't have much of one, but whatever the reason I just love it. I also have a really thing about jewelry. I have this necklace that belonged to my mother and I wear it all the time. I'm currently an exchange student here in Walten like I said, and I'm studying History and the English Language, obviously."
* so what does your family life look like?"My family? Well I've already told you that I'm an orphan, and not only am I an orphan but I have or is it had amnesia. Well whatever tense it's in, I don't remember in the least little bit about my family. All I have of them is a locket that my mother had. Nothing special but thats it. Um...i've had a few foster parents, and then there was another kid in the orphange that I got along with. His name is Dimitri and um...yeah that's about it as far as family goes."
* what are the memorable moments in your life?Okay, only three memorable moments, well that will be sort of hard but I shall give it a try at the very least. Now my life really starts when I was ten. I don't remember my parents names or if I had any siblings. What I do know is what I have been told from the organizers at the St. Petersburg Home for Children. I had a few siblings, and one day, while we were driving home we got into a car accident, someone was going way too fast and didn't stop at the light. Sadly, I was the only one that survived. It was really aweful, I was in the hospital for weeks, unconcious and when I finally woke, I couldn't even remember my name. So I had lost my family and every memory I have of them in one moment of time. I was ten, and it was really horrible. I just remember crying for the longest time. Of course I went to an orphange and there I grew up.
Hm...now since my life practically restarted itself at the age of ten, there isn't much else, but when I did arrive at the home, the first person I met was Dimitri. He was such an ass, like truly an ass. He always picked on me, told me I wasn't girly enough, and that I was ugly. It was so childish, but at the same time, he really helped me find myself again. I think I pretty much fell in love with him at the age of like fifteen. We kept going to foster homes, but after a certain amount of time we would always come back to the home. Some would consider us siblings, but to me, he was always that person that I could count on, and in my later years when I actually started dating, it was rough, because all I ever wanted to do was tell him that he was handsome but I knew I couldn't do that. So, that is Dimitri, not a memorable moment, but certainly a memorable person.
I remember the first day I went to university. It was like my first day of freedom. I had always wanted to go to America, and I knew that someday wtih enough determination I would end up there, so I started early with my english lessons and I think that I have done amazingly well. When it came time to choose a major, now that was really difficult, there are so many options and at first it was astrology, but that seemed so flighty, and then it was mythology, apparently I really liked anything that had -ology in it. Finally it was history. I figured that even after all these years I still couldn't remember my history then I could at least learn about other people's. I started working and moved out on my own, and was really starting my life, and of course once I left the home, I sort of lost track with Dimi. That's horribly sad, I miss him and probably I still love his annoying ass. I applied for scholarships and they said that I was the perfect person for the exchange program, so now I'm here. In America, going to college, studying, loving life, missing my memories, but living with it. So, yeah that's it.
* so we've heard that you're a lot like anastasia

* so we've heard that you're a lot like anastasia.
[blockquote]
name: anya is actually the name that she goes by in the movie even though her real name is anastasia. fyodorovna is a patronymic nameand apparently every russian has one, this one I chose because it seemed similar to what I had in mind and romanov because that was her real last name.
play by: well barbara meier has the red hair, slip lips, button nose, pale skin without the freckles, and she does have a very feminine air to her, and don't forget the slightly pointed chin.
positive traits: the both can think fast on their feet, both headstrong, and they both are smart, because anastasia was after the truth about her missing memories.
negative traits: both childish; sticking out their tongues, both stubborn, frustrated and insecure; in the movie it was evident when they were dressing her up in all the nice clothes and she actually had to pretend to be a lost princess.
orientation: um...well she ended up with dimitri, so yeah, i figured she was straight.
turn ons: well she liked that dimitri was a lot like her, even though it annoyed her, she still found that nice. Stubborn, funny, sweet.
turn offs: Well Rasputin was the epitome of what she doesn't want. ugly, smelly, going no where in his life. lol.
spare time: well anastasia was always searching for the truth and she was pretending to dress up and be a princess. anya loves learning and history and dancing, this was a little harder to connect.
family life: um...she doesn't remember them in both the movie and here.
memorable moments: she has no family, no memories, lived in an orphange in St. Petersburg, and is interested in the past.
