* tell us a little about yourself.Well hey there! My name is Adella, but you can just call me Laney. Well, I was born in this small town.. I can't believe I'm still here! Anyways, I am twenty-two years old at the moment.. I don't think I'm ready to get any older than that. I am in college and plan on majoring in some field of fashion.. It's my favorite. Me? Job? Ha! I haven't found one.. that's appropriate to tell my family about.. Sadly, I'm a stripper.
* what are some of your positive traits?"My positive traits? Hmm.... Well, I think that my ability to make someone smile without really trying would be good. Yeah, I've heard that one a couple times. I also believe that my fashion sense would be good; I'm pretty stylish, ask anyone! Finding the good in every situation is probably pretty annoying to several people, but I feel that it's a good thing. I am also very independent. Okay, so I like guys.. a lot.. but that doesn't mean anything. My love in being in the spotlight has come in handy several times; I'm pretty competitive, too. I've heard several times that my quick thinking and witty comments are also good. Anyways, I'm sure there's more I just can't think of any."
* what are some things that you can improve on?"Okay, so several of my "positive" traits are also my "negative" traits. If you couldn't tell, I'm pretty guy crazy. I honestly would do anything to get married and have a family.. but that's just our dirty little secret, okay?! Also, I tend to run on the overly confident side of the scale. Oh! I'm also bitchy sometimes. For example, sometimes my witty comments can be taken the wrong way. And that thing about liking to be in the spotlight, yeah.. I tend to get a little wrapped up in it.. Oh well, it is what it is!"
* what's your biggest secret? we won't tell."You've got to promise not to tell anyone, but I'm kinda, well,
a stripper. I know, it's really embarrassing and everything, but it's how I make my money. I've been working this job for about a year.. The pay is really good, so I feel obliged to keep it until I gain the courage to tell.. Or maybe I never will.. We'll just see how this one pans out. But DON'T tell anyone, mmkay?"
* what does your heart want?"Ha! What doesn't my heart want? I want a guy who is sweet, understands me, and doesn't mind my love for being in charge. Oh! He's got to, got to have short hair; it's my pet peeve. He's got to be charming.. handsome.. has to be able to make me laugh. Money, would be nice. He's got to love the beach, and like to party.. etc. Ugh, he can't smoke; that's just disgusting. Also, his hair cannot be better than mine, major turn off. No nasty teeth, either! Show us those pearly whites, boy. In other word's just be nice to me and call me pretty. You know, typical girl's dream man."
* what do you do in your spare time?"I love to dance and sketch fashion. I've been dancing ever since I was a little girl. My momma took me to dance lessons once and I was hooked. Something about it always reminds me of her.. I was pretty close to her. Anyways, dancing is usually something I do in the evenings while sketching is something I do all the time, literally. Because I want to be in the fashion industry, I practice sketching and planning new clothing all the time.. I want to be famous. I'm pretty good at all of it, I guess."
* so what does your family life look like?"Yes, I am one of those Marée girls. Of course, there's Arielle, Attina, Arista, Aquata, Andrina, and Alana; if you couldn't tell.. my parents had a thing for the letter "A". The seven of us usually get along pretty well, most of the time, other times it's like all hell broke loose. Each one of our personalities are different, and that's why I love my sister's so much!
As most everyone knows, my daddy is owner of that massive fishing company right outside of town. He's known for his massive fleet boats that bring in tons of big, nasty fish. But I can't really complain, I'm inheriting lots of money some day! Daddy tends to run on the.. strict side. He loves to follow the rules and enforce them. He's not big for punishing us girls, however. Daddy's a big pushover and I love him so much! Ever since momma died, he's been kind of a loner, but I hope he will remarry someday.
As you can see, my family means a ton to me! I would not be the girl I am today without them. Of course, they get on my nerves and don't always understand me, but at least I have a family that loves me as much as I love them."
* what are the memorable moments in your life?"Okay, there was the one time when I was seven years old; I had my first boyfriend. Silly as it sounds at that young of an age, I swore it was true love. His name was Parker, Parker Delacruz. He had short brunette hair and the prettiest eyes. Anyways, I was swinging on the swing set at the park when this charming little guy comes up to me and asks me to be his girlfriend. Of course, I said yes. Pathetic how I was so boy crazy at the young age of seven! Anyways, Parker and I dated off and on from that day until we went separate ways to college.
Oh! And there was another time when my mom took me to my very first dance lesson. I was oh, four at the time. I was wearing some pink little get up and my hair was in a bun; my mom said I looked adorable. Anyways, the instructor was standing way high above me and directed me towards the other little girls around my age. Twirling and prancing around the studio was soon my favorite thing to do.
And lastly, my mother's death. It's not exactly a pleasant memory, but it is the most memorable one I have ever had. I was about 5 at the time of her death. I remember exactly how I was told that she was dead. Let me explain this one to you. I was sitting at home one day after school watching TV, probably some Disney show. Anyways, my mom hadn't come home yet. This was a time before the cell craze hit, so she didn't have a cell phone yet. Usually, she was hanging around the house waiting for all of us to come home to ask us about our day. I patiently waited on that couch for several hours before a policeman comes knocking on our house door. He asked if my dad was home, I said yes and went to go get him. I sat there and watched as the policeman explained to my father what happened. Instantly, my father broke out in tears.. It was hard to watch so I ran over and asked when mommy was coming home. The policeman looked down at me and glumly said never. I had never cried so hard in my life, and I don't think I ever will."
* so we've heard that you're a lot like adella from the little mermaid
name: Adella is the real name that was given to her and I felt that Juliette was appropriate because she's so boy crazy according to wikipedia. Since Juliette is a name you usually associate with boys, I felt it went.
play by: Adella's play by is Jessica Stroup. After looking it up on wikipedia, I learned that both have dark brownish hair and blue eyes.
positive traits: Both are very boy crazy; they love to be in the center of attention which is both bad and good. Both are very good listeners and are optimistic.
negative traits: Once again, they both are boy crazy to the max. Both are conceited, even though my Adella is more full of herself than the original disney one is. Their love of being in the spotlight is the same.
orientation: Same.
turn ons: Handsome, charming, and gives compliments? It sounds just like Parker Delacruz from two years ago. The disney character had this thing for a male slug so I gave him a name.
turn offs: It's those gross things, who doesn't think of those as turn offs?
spare time: On wikipedia, it says that she likes to dance at the Catfish Club with a sea slug, so yeah. Self explanatory in my opinion.
family life: We all know that there isn't a mom and there are six other sisters. Instead of King Triton being "king" I found out from Arielle's application that he's "king" of his massive fishing company.
memorable moments: I decided to make Adella close to her mom so there would be some connection to her. Dancing is also one of her favorite things to do, so it's a given that it would be a memorable moment.. that involves her mom. The boy, Parker Delacruz, also ties in with the boy crazy personality.
