I hope this helps all that are applying on the site. We really don't want to have to send anyone away, but we also want to have the best characters. It just comes with the territory of running a site like this. Here are some tips when applying for this site.

Make sure that you reserve your character and your play by. If you don't, someone else can claim it on you, and we wouldn't want that happening. Likewise, after you've been accepted, make sure that you claim your face and character.

Do not use another character that you've used on another site! They don't translate as well as when you start from scratch. We're not saying that it can't be done, we're just saying that it probably won't be done. Now if you've been on another Disney personification site, then you'd probably be able to get away with that. Note the word probably, just because you were on another site, doesn't mean that you're going to be automatically accepted.

Don't just pick a play by because they're your favorite play by. There should be several similarities between the play by and the Disney character. Just having the same hair color is not enough. So for example, Selena Gomez does not make the best Snow White despite the fact that they both have really dark hair. Snow white has blue eyes, dark hair and very fair skin. Selena Gomez, while a pretty girl and could fit for other Disney characters, she has dark eyes and dark skin.

Just because your character had their own song in the movie, does not make them a singer or musically inclined. A lot of the movies are musicals, and therefore, characters sang. It wouldn't be much fun if you listened to a horrible singer in the middle of the movie. An example of a Disney girl who could sing would be Ariel. Not only did Ursula want her voice, but Ariel was trained in music and singing along with the rest of her sings. Another one would be Aurora for Fauna gave her the gift of song. An example of some Disney characters who sang for the sake of a musical number but were not singers are Pocahontas, Mulan, Prince Philip, Aladdin, Princess Jasmine and many many more. Please keep this in mind when you make your characters.

Don't take what we have to say personal. If you application is pended or denied, it's not because we hate you. It is because we feel that it could be polished more or that it's not as close to the Disney Canon that it can be. So don't throw a fit or get all angry and spam us or whatever you want to do because you're not accepted right away. We try to not deny an application right away and you're always more then welcome to try again.
